Cheney Notified as to Identities of Whistle Blowers From the Department of Justice
In what was purported to be an effort to clean up the mess in the Department of Justice left in the wake of so many scandals involving Bush administration politics and apparent obstruction of justice, the House Judiciary Committee solicited insider tips of wrong doing in the DoJ and promised that, while anonymous tips weren't welcome, the identities of the tipsters would be held in the strictest confidence. But evidently there is no accounting for the sorts of human errors which "accidentally" send nukes flying over the friendly skys of America, at least not on Bush and Cheney's watch. An e-mail was sent out to the more than 150 participants in the whistle blowing program which included their e-mail addresses. Not once, but twice. More disturbing is the fact that copies of these revealing e-mails were sent to Dick Cheney.
It remained unclear to what extent the inclusion of this personal information compromised the identities of these whistle blowers, but given the illegal surveillance assets afforded to Dick Cheney, we could safely conclude that his knowledge of their identities would be total, since illegal surveillance of e-mail is now occurring all of the time in America, but which would be essentially meaningless if telecoms weren't providing the identities of those persons to whom the e-mail addresses belong or if they had some other means of acquiring them.
My thoughts are, at the moment, that all through school there were two types of accident prone people. Bullies- and their victims.
